The product is handcrafted from premium Italian oiled leather from the Tuscan region. This leather has an aged appearance and will further age and take on a distressed look. No two oiled leather products will ever be the same shade or develop the same patina due to the natural properties inherent in natural leather. We like this.

Beautiful gift, well made and fast efficient service (delivered in a matter of days).
Only comment is (and this is not a criticism, but a suggestion), I would like to have purchased them with plain paper (not ruled) as both of my daughters love to sketch. I know they can buy plain paper refills but would have been a bonus to have that option. But overall well worth 5 stars.
