Smoked Leather Journal Cover With Pen A5

This refillable leather journal cover is manufactured by us at our studio on the west coast of Ireland.

The product is handcrafted from premium Vegetable Tanned Italian leather from the Tuscan region. Veg tan leather goes back thousands of years and the process used in tanning is a natural one. Italy is one of the few countries in the world who still possess the skills to produce the finest vegetable tanned leathers.

For this notebook we use a smoked effect hand finished vegetable tanned leather from an artisinal Tannery in Northern Italy. It is a special piece.

Vegetable tanned leather will have variation in colour tones and show natural markings or blemishes from hide to hide. This is in no way a defect but a testament to the natural properties inherent in this wonderful natural material.
