Do Good
Just before Christmas we made a small donation to GMIT SU from our DOGOOD campaign after we spotted their #suheroes campaign which at that time was focused on collecting new toys for underprivileged and sick children. Well done to SU president Sam O’Neill and all the students who collected over 500 new toys for the kids.
More of their endeavours can be seen over on www.gmitsu.ie – See more at: https://mishnoc.com/do-good.html#sthash.E8PSOhV3.dpuf
In January mála made a donation from our DOGOOD campaign to www.roomtoread.org. Their video above inspired us to dig deeper. Huge amounts of people in the world are born in to poverty every year. This in itself is not the end of the world, being denied an education is. Giving a child the ability to read and right to any basic level gives them a shot. www.roomtoread.org do this. By there own estimation if all children in low income countries left school with basic reading skills 171 million people would be lifted out of poverty.
