This 40mm wide vintage buckle leather belt is manufactured by us in Athenry Co-Galway using the finest buttery soft Italian leather. We only use grade A European Cowhide Shoulder for all of our belt production.
When choosing your belt size just choose the waist size of your trousers.
The product is handcrafted from premium Vegetable Tanned Italian leather from the Tuscan region. Veg tan leather goes back thousands of years and the process used in tanning is a natural one. Italy is one of the few countries in the world who still possess the skills to produce the finest vegetable tanned leathers.
We use some of the last remaining tanneries still using this traditional and in our opinion best method of tanning in Tuscany, Italy.
Variations in tones and tooling marks may be visible on the product you receive. This is testament to the handmade nature of the product and the natural properties of the materials used.

I finally got annoyed at having to replace mass produced belts -pleather shreds after a couple of months, designer items might keep up for a year or two, but they all wear out with daily use. So after a well-placed Insta ad or five, I finally but, and got this for myself as a late Christmas present.
The quality here is exceptional at any price – but even so, you’d barely get a bigger-name belt out of TK Maxx for this kind of money. Here you get thick, soft and flexible leather, sturdy fittings, and the knowledge that the belt will look better and better over years of service. The craftsmanship is obvious. You’re supporting local artisans building individual items by hand, and they’re clearly know what they’re doing.
It’s early days yet, but this feels like as close to a buy-it-for-life as you’ll find.

What a great product – the online images don’t do it justice. Really sturdy and well made, you feel better just wearing it. It feels like it will last for years….and no way will your trousers ever fall down!!
